Well, the first class of the year is in the book. Neither Wind or Snow or Bitter Cold could stop the true warriors of the 2011 Introduction long-distance class. And, although the cold backed off a little, the wind was a huge challenge on Saturday. We had 23 mph winds most of the day, so the .556 AR shooters worked extremely hard to stay on target. It was a little easier for the .308 shooters. Everyone that returned to brave the elements on Sunday were able to hit the remaining r targets out to 1,000 yards and a few made 1,100. Sunday turned out to be a much nicer day ( thank heaven ). All in all, everyone seemed to learn a lot of tips, techniques, and experience. I hope they had fun!
